Private by default

Narrative reports, weekly folders, uploaded templates, source files, and images belong to the signed-in user and are not public by default.

Sharing creates a copy

Weekly Report Sharing sends a transfer record. When the receiver accepts, LikhaDocs creates a separate folder copy in the receiver’s workspace. The sender keeps the original and later changes are not synchronised.

Temporary system records

  • Read notifications are removed after 30 days.
  • Unread notifications are removed after 90 days.
  • Pending weekly-report transfers expire after 30 days.
  • Completed, cancelled, rejected, and expired transfer records are cleaned after 90 days.
  • User-owned weekly folders and entries are not deleted by this cleanup.

AI and upload safety

  • Generation may be disabled globally by an administrator during maintenance or budget protection.
  • Uploaded DOCX, PDF, and image files pass file-type, size, and integrity validation.
  • PDF and website text is treated as source material rather than executable instructions.
  • Users should remove sensitive information that is not needed for the report.
